When Nody was rescued from the illegal pet trade, he was taken to the nursery at Nyaru Menteng where he had round the clock care by a team of babysitters.
Soon Nody outgrew the nursery so he was allowed to join the bigger orangutans in Forest School. Here he is learning many new skills from his older, more experienced classmates. It’s been a testing time for Nody though. At first he refused to join in with the others playing in the trees, and clung to his babysitter.
Over time Nody overcame his initial difficulties. He is growing into a strong, independant young male, but he still has a soft spot for his old friends...and milk.
