Make your Orangutan Awareness Day a success
‘Orange day’
Everyone must have something orange. Wear orange wigs, orange ribbons in your hair, orange socks – the list is endless.
Everyone brings something orange to eat – oranges, orange cake, orange jelly, orange lollies - to sell to the other school students.
Painting competitions
Paint or draw anything to do with orangutans.
Form a small committee and pick the favourite picture – the winner and then choose which baby orangutan to adopt.
Cake stall
Easy and fun, everybody brings something orange to sell.
Other ideas
There are other things you can do: • Jelly bean guessing competitions – how many jelly beans are in the jar?? – or even, how many orange jelly beans are in there • A sausage sizzle • Face painting • A car wash day
And… if everyone contributes with a gold coin donation, you can maybe adopt your own orangutan or buy some rainforest.
