Company Information

When was BOS Australia founded?

BOS Australia was founded in 2001 to support the work of the Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation in Indonesia through fundraising, raising public awareness and developing education programs.

Where is BOS Australia based?

We have volunteer a group in NSW and numerous interstate based volunteers who work for us remotely. Our postal address is PO Box 3916, Mosman, NSW, 2088.

Are donations to BOS Australia tax-deductible?

Yes, donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible for Australian residents. Adoptions, sponsorship of square metres and purchase of “cards for a cause” and virtual gift certificates are also tax-deductible.

Orangutans are endangered and at risk of extinction. Habitat destruction results in hundreds of orphaned orangutans, who rely on our care every year. You can help by adopting one. Their dedicated ‘nannies’ teach them everything they need to know for when it’s time to release them back to the wild. You can follow their progress through Forest School.
