Return and Earn is an easy yet impactful way to help us save the critically endangered orangutans and their dwindling rainforest homes.
Simply recycle your eligible drink containers at any Return and Earn machine in NSW and donate some or all of your container refunds to Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) Australia.
How it works:
- Open the free app after downloading it here: http://onelink.to/returnandearn
- Look us up under the “Charities” menu
- Press “Set as Payout” to set up the donation to us as your active payout method
- Scan the app and start returning containers
- Press “Transfer” on the RVM screen when finished
- Find your nearest Return and Earn machine at
returnandearn.org.au/return-points
By recycling bottles, cans, and cartons, you’re not only helping our environment but also the orangutans in Borneo. Every container returned makes an impact.

How Can You Help
There are lots of ways you can support orangutans and help ensure the survival of this precious ape.
Adopt an Orangutan
Orangutans are endangered and at risk of extinction. Habitat destruction results in hundreds of orphaned orangutans, who rely on our care every year. You can help by adopting one. Their dedicated ‘nannies’ teach them everything they need to know for when it’s time to release them back to the wild. You can follow their progress through Forest School.
Make a Donation
Please help the Orangutans in their struggle for survival. Your donation is important and goes directly to BOS Indonesia.
