All that happened in 2021

As 2021 draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on what you have helped us achieve in this most challenging year – from rescuing 15 orangutans and releasing 25 into the wild to replanting 200 hectares of forests.

Thank you so much for caring about our red cousins and their habitat. We hope you enjoy this brief summary of 2021.

We will be back in 2022 with renewed enthusiasm to fulfil our goals of allowing all orangutans to live a life of dignity and freedom while protecting their rainforest homes.

While we may already have a long list of achievements, there is still so much to do. So let’s continue to protect orangutans and the habitat they live in together!

How Can You Help

There are lots of ways you can support orangutans and help ensure the survival of this precious ape.

Adopt an Orangutan

Adopt an Orangutan

Orangutans are endangered and at risk of extinction. Habitat destruction results in hundreds of orphaned orangutans, who rely on our care every year. You can help by adopting one. Their dedicated ‘nannies’ teach them everything they need to know for when it’s time to release them back to the wild. You can follow their progress through Forest School.
